About Christine

Dr. Christine von Arnim is a geriatrician and neurologist combining basic and clinical research on cognitive dysfunction and dementia. Her main areas of clincial research are the diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative dementias including CSF biomarkers, and clinical cardio-neuro-geriatrics. This includes non-drug interventions like cognitive training and physical exercise programs and intervention for preventing delirium. Her basic research focuses on the cell biology of Alzheimer’s disease including APP function and metabolism and mitochondria.
